Daniel C.
Private tutor in Largo, FL
Education
I hold a Bachelors of Science in Statistics from the University of Florida. I've also passed two Society of Actuaries exams, Probability 1 and Financial Math 2.
Experience
I've been tutoring mathematics on and off since 2010, both independently and with tutoring companies such as ACES Tutoring. I scored a 1520 on the SAT, with a 750 math and 770 verbal. I greatly enjoy teaching and tutoring. My greatest strength is my ability to approach math from many different angles to figure out a way to explain concepts in a way that the student will understand best. I've had many students tell me that I've helped them understand concepts that they've struggled with for years, and that is a feeling that is hard to replicate.

Hobbies
I enjoy movies, music and video games, as well as outdoor activities like kayaking and bike riding. Food is also an interest of mine. Though I am by no means a professional chef, I do enjoy trying out new recipes and seeing the different things I can make. Musical instruments are fun too. I used to play the guitar and am currently teaching myself how to play piano as well.
