I am a tutor from Largo, FL with a passion for helping students reach their full potential. I have a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in Special Education, and a second master's degree in Dance Education. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in Educational Leadership: Curriculum and Instruction. I believe my education and work history have given me insight into the value of one-on-one learning. I believe each student learns differently, and tutoring should be tailored to cater to the individual's goals and learning style. I help students reach their learning goals, and I genuinely care about each student's success. I understand that when a student struggles academically, it can affect their overall confidence and self esteem.I have experience teaching students with a wide range of ages and skill levels. Some of my strongest subjects are Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, History, Civics, Social Studies, Geography, and English. My goal is to help students understand concepts in whichever way they learn best. I am an avid learner, and my lifelong learning helps me relate to my students. I believe by maintaining a positive attitude towards learning, I can help students maximize their potential. When I am not studying or teaching, I enjoy dance and poetry.
