Experience
I am a Math tutor with experience teaching students of all ages and from all walks of life. I attended the University of Florida where I received a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, as well as a Business minor. I have loved education for as long as I can remember, but I have always been particularly passionate about Math. It's not just learning math that excites me, but sharing my knowledge with others. When I was in high school, I began helping my fellow peers with their Math, and that was when I realized I had a gift for tutoring others. It began with my friends, and then I began teaching people outside of my peer group and so on. I later moved on to teaching in a more professional environment. Every student possesses a different approach to things as well as a different learning style. When tutoring a student, it is important to figure out their individual needs and to come up with a learning plan that suits them. I make sure that my students understand concepts fully before moving on, as so much of Math builds upon itself. My hobbies include outdoor activities such as riding my bike, and learning to play instruments. I have taught myself the guitar, and am now trying to learn the keyboard.
